Our story

From a competition to a movement.

2023
It started with a competition
Break the Code: Capture the Flag began as a 24-hour hacking competition, held every October during National Cybersecurity Awareness Month.
2025
It grew into a movement
A national conference, fifteen finalist teams, and the Cyber Security Authority of Ghana as institutional partner, with government, industry, and academia on one stage.
Today
Now we open the doors to everyone
Free, hands-on training in the practical skills Ghana runs on, with girls and young women at the heart of everything we do.

Osagyefo: Defending Ghana's digital sovereignty.

brCTF 2025 opened with a cyber conference and closed with a 24-hour live final. Fifteen teams earned their place through online qualifiers, then spent a day and a night on Boot2Root, Red vs Blue, and forensics challenges, with lock-picking contests, cyber charades, and late-night snacks along the way.

The Cyber Security Authority of Ghana joined as institutional partner, and the stage brought together voices from the Ministry of Education, CENDLOS, GIMPA, Deloitte Ghana, and the Ghana Domain Name Registry.
